Over the course of 15 years, Hurcan has gone from low-budget music videos to working on independent future films .

At 12 years old, Hurcan began making short movies with his hi8 camera. While studying Visual Arts and Communication Design at Sabanci University in Istanbul, he started to shoot music videos, where he learned the guerrilla techniques he would later use to make his films, Following (2007), he get grand price for Extracurricular Activities Award in Sabanci University. His works were recognized by industry leading producers that led him to movie business as well as other high end productions.

He has been living in London / UK since 2018.
